When to Go

• Temperature: in Paphos, August highs average about 88 °F with lows near 71 °F. January highs are about 63 °F and lows about 47 °F, too cool for an unheated pool.
• Season: Atlantica says the best time for Aeneas is late spring to early autumn, and its Mare Ayia Napa resort opens from late March to late October. Some Paphos hotels do sell winter stays.
• Heated pools: none of the hotels on this page says its swim-up or private pools are heated, so plan on May to October for swimming from your terrace.

Getting to Cyprus's Swim-Up Hotels

• Ayia Napa and Protaras: fly into Larnaca (LCA). Atlantica gives about 40 to 45 minutes from the airport to its Ayia Napa resorts. Adams Beach is about 2.5 km from Ayia Napa center.
• Paphos: fly into Paphos International Airport, about 10 km southeast of the city.
